Young Nordic Opera Choir was founded through a partnership with Herning Opera Festival in Denmark and Reykjavik Opera Days in Iceland. The project is owned by The Jutland School of Singing.

Singers have been recruited from all the Nordic countries, and the purpose of the choir is to support talent development across the entire region, Nordic unity, networking, and an exchange of experiences and knowhow.
